Takashi Yagihashi is a world renown chef recognized by the National Restaurant Association and his peers as being among the best in the world at his craft. He is a featured guest on a distinguished television series and a major contributor to the world of cuisine. The entry is suitable for a chef of his calibre and is written to provide biographical reference to his work history.
No, the entry is written like a magazine article or a promotional press release, not an objective encyclopedia article. In fact, the entry appears to be copied word-for-word from http://www.greatchefs.com/takashi-yagihashi/, a website that is explicitly designed to promote a television show and to sell products related to that show. Apparently that site has a Creative Commons copyright, so copying it is not infringement, but that still doesn't make the tone or content appropriate for Wikipedia. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 21:40, 30 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
