Medium or high security?
editThis article on cbc.ca states that it's a former medium-security prison, not high-security as is stated on WP. Anchoress 17:11, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
prisoners vs. detainees
editThese are non criminals and some are applying for asylum. They are detainees and not prisoners. Prisoners are criminally charged people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.94.237.46 (talk) 19:16, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Neutral Point of View
editThe article is written in non-neutral stance. It attacks most of its operations and only mentions lawsuits and complaints. Perhaps unrelated, but having information about the actual facility could also improve the article. (Who is T. Don Hutto?). ←Signed:→Mr. E.
