Actually I disagree, the rationale is that it was a monotypic genus in which the sole species Symmorphoides maroccanus has been shown to be synonymous with Eumicrodynerus longicorpus (Ref Gusenleitner 1997, Bestimmungstabellen mittel- und südeuropäischer Eumeniden (Vespoidea, Hymenoptera) Teil 7: Die Gattungen Microdynerus THOMSON 1874 und Eumicrodynerus GUSENLEITNER 1972, Linzer biol. Beitr. 29/2 779-797) although insectoid.info (a secondary source) shows E. longicorpus and E. maroccanus as separate species.
