User keeps editing venue names to their taste

There is one user that keeps vandalizing the article and editing the venue names to their taste. The most recent example is the box office score data - Billboard Boxscore reported the Milan, Udine, Barcelona, Madrid, Oslo, Gothenburg and Copenhagen dates as, respectively: Stadio San Siro, Stadio Friuli, Estadio Olímpico, Estadio Vicente Calderón, Valle Hovin, Ullevi Stadion and Parken Stadion. This user insists on changing them to San Siro Stadium, Friuli Stadium, Olympic Stadium, Vicente Calderón Stadium, Valle Hovin Stadium, Ullevi Stadium and Parken Stadium. These are not the venue names as reported by Billboard! Some of these are outright ridiculous - "Valle Hovin Stadium" is preposterous! Valle Hovin isn't even a stadium, it's an ice-skating rink! This has been going on for weeks in the tour dates section. The user disregards the venue names as listed by Madonna's official website and Billboard Boxscore and simply changes them to whatever they wish. Unconscious³ (talk) 04:06, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Madonna's Worldwide tours sequence number

This is not Madonna's 8th worldwide tour, but the 7th. The Virgin Tour is a North American tour. The edit was made within 15 minutes of references being supplied - I would say that qualifies as prompt. No its not. Images are aligned right or left based on the image itself. If an image has teh main focused person looking to the right, then its placed on left. Addition of song used!

The "Here Comes The Rain" Interlude also includes an excerpt from a Modeselektor song called "The Wedding Toccata Theme". There's a part in the middle where there aren't any vocals, and synths from the mentioned song are featured. Strongbadinater (talk) 03:13, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

Kolpakov Trio not Romanian

In the 'Madonna's statements' section of the article, the image text refers to the Kolpakov Trio as being Romanian, which is incorrect. The band's own website refers to the band members as being Russian. The word "Romanian" refers to something relating to Romania. Box Office Data

These "100 %" are ridiculous, so many shows where not sold out. I was in Paris, at the Stade de France, and there were plenty of empty seats, as well as tickets available at the counters. Weird for a so called sold out concert. Same with the concert at Bercy in 2009 the capacity is well above the indicated figure. A friend of mine was in Barcelona and was amazed the stadium was about one third empty. And I could go on with many other examples... Cancelled shows

It missing two cancelled shows, the one in Hamburg at the Trab-Arena Hamburg Bahrenfeld was scheduled for July 28, 2009. It was cancelled due to schedule conflict. Also, there was the second show in Manchester, England at the Manchester Evening News Arena scheduled for the July 8, 2009. Hi Itsbydesign since you did not bother to raise a discussion first, I'm gonna do it here in one article. This would be the same for all the tour articles that you are uploading images and changing tour posters. What is your rationale for doing so by changing long-standing images? I will invite the original uploader Chrishm21 who uploaded these images for their input. Adding further, Itsbydesign you are uploading all WP:NFCC failing images continuously. • It doesn't matter if the image has been within the article for 10 minutes or 10 years, every editor on this platform has every right to change an image. None of the images I have uploaded have failed WP:NFCC; images being orphaned because of these exact matters is not against any policy. You are definitely reaching on that case. All of these images fail Wikipedia's policy on image use and non-free images. Pertinent information cannot be cropped out (such as dates, venue info, etc) is one of my biggest gripes. If any user is uploading a poster as promotional material, what is the point of removing the part that shows the promotional information? In many occasions, new images are being uploaded using the same word-for-word justification as the image you are so "against". I am not just googling an image for the tour and throwing in the first one I see. I am looking for consistencies in the design (style, formatting, images used, colors, etc). I truly do not have the time to engage in a one-sided conversation or reaching to confirm whatever agenda you have in your head. If a standalone generic image is desired, fine. Every editor has right to upload, but when it is challenged, you are supposed to discuss and come to consensus. The images are sourced from where they are available. That complies with the NFCC rationale and justification given. Dates are already present in the article body and do not need to be represented in a non-free image for it to be inclusive in articles. Your basic understanding of NFCC is wrong. Hello! First of all, thank u @IndianBio: for requesting my input. As for @Itsbydesign:, you need to understand that these "standalone generic" images are send out to the countries/entertainment companies who adapt them and complement them with the dates/venues/info before releasing them to the public; they are not necessarily needed on the poster. And as IndianBio already explained, dates and venues are already present in the article. Your uploads with dates/venue are unnecessary; yes other designs may exist but that's not really the issue as (in my opinion) the current ones that are used are perfectly fine and serve their purpose; we need to keep these articles updated with relevant information that compliments (like commercial/critical reception, impact), not by senselessly switching the image of a promotional poster. As a graphic designer for 13 years, I can tell you that is not how it works, but, continue to believe what you feel. As for @IndianBio:, you truly need to step down from your high horse. This is one of five times you attempted to reach a consensus in the numerous years you've been on this platform. You cannot pretend to act like a shrinking violet when your back is against the wall. Bottom line, it does not quantify as a promotional image if it does not contain promotional material. You will not walk down the street and see a poster of Mariah Carey for her latest tour without showing the date, venue, website, etc. It's absurd that you think otherwise. This excuse about the information already in the article is just as useful as wet rocks on the beach. If you want to use these generic images, then don't quantify them as promotional materials and also, don't just do a copy and paste of the justification of another image. Plain and simple. I will repeat myself. I will not engage in a one-sided conversation. If you want to have a civil conversation, I am more than happy to oblige. But, this victim pandering that you're already doing shows that you do not. This is just something for you to do to save face.
