Genocide or not...?
editMy family lost many members in a concentration camp, Women and Children, My grandmother told me that the women that arrived in the camps with small children were given condensed milk with crushed glass inside, without knowing many died because of this as the military could not care for them. All the animals that they owned on the farms were exterminated and the homes was burnt down. Men and boys as young as 7 were either shot or exiled to penal colonies. Afterwards many of them lost their farmland as the government confiscated the land. Many were poor and destitute and many families including my own, struggled for many years afterwards. Most of the women in the camps were also raped by soldiers to which I have proof. Does this constitute as “Crime against humanity” or "War Crime"? Was this genocide?
