How can a highway be described as 'anticlockwise'? Surely it is bi-directional? 118.93.67.136 (talk) 09:24, 7 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Because highways are measured (for things like intersection and bridge numbering) from one end. Therefore from the official starting point it runs anticlockwise. dramatic (talk) 10:45, 7 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
