Split horizon cannot fix routing loop problem. It is used only to solve the 'count-to-infinity' problem (also known as the slow convergence problem). Please double check.This is done by Raj williams.
But what is route advertisement itself?

Typo makes Example section unreadable
editNot sure what it was supposed to say, but I think this needs some work: "Now if one of the nodes fails. Split-horizon only protects each node from where their current path is received from."
I just came here to research the topic and I can't make heads or tails of that.
This article may be too technical for non-experts to read
