I object to this page's deletion/redirection

edit

I object to the redirection of this page by User:A_loose_necktie. On what grounds is an original album by one of the leading composers of jazz "not notable"? Arguably this original format was the one intended by the artist, and this was recently honored by Craft Records' re-release of the material in its original format. This deletion without debate amounts to vandalism. Sojambi Pinola (talk) 00:56, 16 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Reallocated as "Mini-LP" chronology

edit

It is my hope that by reallocating this release's chronology as that of a "Mini-LP", much as the Beatles have a separate Wikipedia EP chronology which sometimes intersects their LP chronology, I can avoid the record being designated as "not notable".

This was a massive amount of additional work. I do think it clears up the chronology, which was admittedly made a little complex by my prior navigation attempt. I hope you are satisfied, A_loose_necktie. Please engage with me if you aren't, instead of wholesale unilaterally deleting the page. Thank you. I will add that, at all times, this and the similar Monk "mini-LP" pages included at least 4 links to outside sources on legit "notable" websites discussing the albums. This sort of redirection/deletion verges on trolling or vandalism, and to zap them on the same day that they are first being assembled seems not in the spirit of knowledge and information that I believe Wikipedia to be about. I intend to monitor this sort of action closely, and to take appropriate steps to protect these pages if this behavior continues. Sojambi Pinola (talk) 15:57, 16 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please leave me alone. Thanks. A loose necktie (talk) 10:28, 30 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
