Trivia
editIs there similarity between Red light in my eyes part 1 and the end of flight of the wounded bumble bee? The chromatic scale upwards? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.97.250.47 (talk) 17:53, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Repressed Keyboards?
editTo me, the keyboards sound much more prevelant on this album than any other, especially given the many keyboard breaks, such as on Deadnight Warrior, Red Light In My Eyes Pt. 2 and Touch Like Angel Of Death. So unless someone can refute this, I'll change it.
Bad Link!
editJust thought you might want to know that the link for the article on "Red Light In My Eyes Pt. 2" instead directs to the article for "The Carpenter" by Nightwish.
- In response to the note above: the song in question is a b-side to that single. --Morogth (talk) 23:29, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Something Wild (musical album).jpg
editImage:Something Wild (musical album).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Wrong collocation of one note
editI've moved the reference to W.A. Mozart's aria of the Queen of the Night from this page to that of "Hatebreeder", because it concerned a song contained in this album, not "Something wild".
Worth Noting?
editThe drummer, Jaska i believe, is credited incorrectly, under his pic in the book is Warmins name. its got to be a misprint or something, but ive seen several copies with it. i apollogize for the name spelling/innacuracies. i cant remember them off the top of my head right now. also, i read somewhere that the only song that had lyrics when they went into the studio was Touch Like Angel of Death, the rest of them were created during the recording process. It seems likely considering he created Kissing the Shadows entirely (music and lyrics) just before entering into the recording booth. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.5.64.243 (talk) 00:21, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Trivia
editI understand the usefull of this banner : Lists of miscellaneous information should be avoided. Please relocate any relevant information into appropriate sections or articles. but only about serious article like 2nd world war or political article. But a heavy metal album deserves a trivia section. That doesn't threaten anything. Nico92400 (talk) 09:00, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
Contradiction in article
editThe article states 'The album (Something Wild)also includes Children of Bodom's longest song to date "In the Shadows".' However, 'In The Shadows' is not even the longest song on the album ('The Nail' is 6:18, 17 seconds longer. ). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.238.133.18 (talk) 20:13, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
Miami Vice theme?
editThe keyboard instrumental at the end of track 7 is not a cover of the Miami Vice theme. Why is it listed as such? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.184.57.142 (talk) 23:46, 3 May 2018 (UTC)
