Hello Everybody. Simar menas a lot more than is written here. In Sikh Religion SIMAR word is of UTMOST importance. It Means to RECITE Gods name ie generally WAHEGURU. I think if somebody visits India, he/she will definitely come to hear this word. Also in Anywhere in world in any gurudwara sahib one will come to listen to this word.
Coat of Arms on Fascia
editThe article says that only the Pope can have his Coat of Arms on the Fascia bands, but this isn't true. Any cleric can do that, as well as on the bands hanging in the back of a Mitre, according to The Church Visible. I guess the only reason why we only see the Pope with this is that it's costly to have this done (cost isn't really an issue because the Pope doesn't actually get paid; a lot of the Pope's clothes are gifts, and the rest are paid for by the Vatican). I'm changing the article to correct it. I hope nobody minds.J.J. Bustamante 00:10, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
This comment is Re: the Sikh guy who was commenting on the word Simar, perhaps we should put a disambiguation in, or have another article? Ithillion 22:48, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
