Article title
editAs some might notice, the article title is not exactly accurate. Well it really depends on your source! I did not just make this up. This is the deal. I felt that having APO macro before the focal length, was not in continuity with most other lens article titles. Most people identify a lens by focal length and aperture. So I believe that having this information at beginning is appropriate. But not just because of that, here are the different sources on how the lens is named:
* Sigma website: | APO MACRO 150mm F2.8 EX DG HSM |
* Printed on lens: | 150mm 1:2.8 APO MACRO DG HSM |
* Printed on lens packaging: | 150mm F2.8 APO MACRO DG |
* Warranty card: | AF 150MM F/2.8 EX DG HSM |
As you can see there is not much continuity even with Sigma. So I believe that Sigma 150mm f/2.8 APO Macro EX DG HSM is the best compromise. Nebrot (talk) 06:34, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
