- Sick was only about the magazine, so I moved it to Sick (magazine), despite the number of links to it, because a silly magazine which I in England had never heard of, is not the most important meaning of the word "sick". Anthony Appleyard 06:57, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
Sick!
editWhat about "sick him", a command to dogs? It was used in comics as early as c. 1880 [1], and the OED quotes a source from 1845. Apparently derives from "seek". —porges(talk) 07:55, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
- OED gives sick as the spelling, not sic. —porges(talk) 08:23, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
what about sick as in "ill" like, "that's ill" in hip-hop ?
Sick has a new meaning (an illogical one)
editIt now is used to refer to something really cool. Sort of odd. Nonsensical. But a meaning none the less.

Vomit / vomiting
editIn British English 'sick' and 'to be sick' refers to vomit and the act of vomiting specifically, in addition to being ill / having a disease . I'm not sure if this has been omitted because it doesn't mean the same in US English? I've added this link to the disambiguation page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.204.42.99 (talk) 13:07, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
another meaning
editWhat about when people say "that's sick" meaning gross or discusting?--Brian Earl Haines (talk) 20:37, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
