editShould the content be merged with Chaozhou? olivier 09:14, 31 Jul 2003 (UTC)
- It's a different city than Chaozhou, so I've corrected some of the inaccuracies here. - Fuzheado
- Good question. I fixed Chaozhou. They are different cities.
Shouldn't the link to Li Ka Shing be under the Chaozhou entry? olivier 01:57, 1 Aug 2003 (UTC)
- I think both would be appropriate -- he's from Chaozhou originally, but has also given much cash to Shantou for their university. - Fuzheado 02:54, 1 Aug 2003 (UTC)
Who is Caiwen? Is he a famous a person at all? Is it a trick that he played in order to made himself famous? And what's his research? Extenics? What's that? I searched that keyword on google and ieeexplorer and other scientific databases globally known and it seems there's not a single match? I delete him because there're certainly more famous people in Shantou and Chenghai who is not recognized. Why should we recognize some one that seems so much in question?- Puekai 19:37, 18 Dec 2006 (UTC)
I suggest Shantou and Chaozhou to merge as they have same dialect and many similarity. it's would be unique and interest, besides most chinese call Chaoshan 朝汕 . - Lennlin
