from a family of irish actors?
editwell, he's northern irish (ie from the UK), wheras calling his family irish kind of suggests they're from the ROI. Does anyone know? Amo 17:01, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
Nationality and Identity in Northern Ireland is a very sensitive issue and probably not one that you know enough about to comment on. About 50% of the residents of Northern Ireland consider themselves Irish. I happen to be a close friend of Kathy Brolly, (Shane's sister) and I know for a fact that the family wouldn't object at all to being referred to as "Irish". So to claim that describing them as such suggests they are from the ROI is a bit naive and presumptious. Tartimarty 00:39, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
