editNeed citation for the following claim that originally in the wiki article "The nearby Sha Tin Wai Station of the MTR is named after the village. By extension, since the construction of the station, the surrounding area is also called "Sha Tin Wai"."

- And in fact, the news article from HK public libraries MMIS system indicated that, area around the Sha Tin Wai village, were already known as "Sha Tin Wai" in the 1960s. Thus, the MTR station may be just a revival to populate the usage again, but not the cause. Lastly, any claim should be cited. Matthew hk (talk) 09:51, 4 March 2020 (UTC)
