This article was created because there is enough information to have its own page seperate from where it originally came from > Chronology of Revelation. I've made a new layout, removing rubbish, consolidating, weeding out original research, and any contributions to its betterment is highly appreciated. Jasonasosa (talk) 22:35, 28 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Does anyone else seem to think that there is a connection between the 7 trumpets in Revelation 8-11 and the 7 last plagues mentioned in Revelation 16? Cwhit567 (talk) 10:49, 18 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

some free websites with a supposed (and affordable) interpretation

edit

http://pierre2.net/en/la-cle-de-lapocalypse/

as it is told in the Book of Revelataion, chapter 5, only Jesus Christ God, seat at the right of the throne of Father God, knows and may revelate us the right historical interpretation of the John's prophecy. As it has been told that the seven seals will have been opened only when it was the right time.

Thus, any human people telling he has the right interpretation, must refer himself to an actual, living, direct and personal dialogue with Jesus, and the angels who serve Him.

If someone tries to connect the chapter 5 of the Book of Revelation (first century after jesus Christ), with the latin text of Exorcismus in Satanam et angelos apostaticos (second half of 1800, Saint Michael the Archangel- pope Leone XIII of the Roman Catholic Church), then he will easily find that in the prayer there are many sentences (not quoted) equals to some passages of the John's biblical prophecy.

Somebody may disprove that this exorcism was composed by pope Leone XIII just with a "drug and drop" from the Bible, but the power of this exorcistic prayer on pushing away Satan and his angels -a miracolous action which is possible only to God himself-, is the implicit proof of all what is explained in the prayer; and because of the fact that God can not change in the time and in the space, and that him is the Truth, so that can not lie to anyone.

And it is the strongest prayer against evil spirits, that the entire Christianity has ever had in the human history, just given by God to the human kind during the historical period of major power of the axis of evil.

As the exorcism was written in the last century (with no other prayers of this type ever written before), anyone may believe that time we are living now is the one about the opening of the seven seals.

The above linked site is a free-Internet, and one of the few on the web telling something like this, with a series of quotations about the prophecies of the Ancient Testament, related to the Book of Revelation. As the fact that all the bible is inspired by God.

Giuseppe Mazzini to Albert Pike

edit

[1]

Just have a look at the letter of italian Giuseppe Mazzini to the American Albert Pike of 15 August 1871. Both of them were 33 degree freemason of Scottish Rite,

Mazzini was living in London for many years during the Revolutions of 1848 in Italy: Mazzini which was a patriot and revolutionary, was not phisically present in Italy, but gave orders only from another very distant place. Albert Pike, e.g in the mean time between 1853 and 1861??

Since its beginning in eighteenth century in London, with the refoundation of the spiritualistic course of modern Freemasonry, 33 degree Fremasons -and only them- of any nation and of any language, were used to be recognized by, and to be depicted on a seat with the right hand propped to the far end of the harmrest. This particular had and till our time has the meaning of their last degree.

33 degree freemasons have the common title of "Master", maybe in opposition to Jesus Christ God, which died on the cross at the age of 33 years, and which was called the Magister. Despite their families and sons, like many other people, they probably were very closely frieds.
Clearly, the history of two World Wars (and a third one, now incoming) is the primary proof of the truthfulness of this document. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.56.47.31 (talk) 08:33, 7 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Historic relevance of horn / shofar / trumpet

edit

I added the following... Before the invention of the brass trumpet, the traditional sacred horn of the ancient Hebrews was the shofar made from a ram's horn. It has been used since Moses' day (Exodus 19:13[1]) to get the attention of the Israelites, signal, or to prelude an anouncement and/or warning from God. Joshua had 7 priests carry 7 horns for 7 days and circle Jericho 7 times, then the priest sounded the horns, the people shouted and the walls came down! (Joshua 6:4[1]). In St. Paul's letter of I Thessalonians 4:16, "the trumpet of God" heralds the 2nd Coming of the Christ. - Brad Watson, Miami 71.196.11.183 (talk) 17:12, 30 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

On Separating Interpretations From Descriptions

edit

I wonder if it'd be more appropriate to take the interpretations currently in the descriptions of the trumpets - e.g., references to meteors and Chernobyl - and move them down to Interpretations, maybe even a subsection on "Popular Interpretation" or something similar if there's enough information. As is, these lines feel like they give credence to particular contemporary interpretations in the way that a site encouraging these interpretations would, and in any case are not actually adding any information as to the text of the book. " "Popular Interpretation" or something similar " A couple of years ago, this would be a perfectly sensible proposal. Now editors keep deleting "popular culture" sections as trivia. The suggestion would lead to the deletion of the section, and would make the article less informative. Dimadick (talk) 08:08, 22 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
If that's the case, it would make sense to fold that content under Interpretations. For instance, we've got Preterist takes in both the descriptions and Interpretations section. It seems clearly notable to me, just a matter of organization. IMHO the reference to Mahler in Interpretations seems a lot more like trivia than any of the popular interpretations here, though I wouldn't delete that either.
