Zazpot (talk·contribs) This user has declared a connection. ("I am related to Hilda Kuper, whose writing is among the publicly available English language works covering the Swazi royal family. I knew Hilda Kuper when I was a child, before she passed away in 1992. I have visited Swaziland only once: for two days, around 1997 or 1998. I was still young and knew even less about Swaziland than I do now. In the course of that trip, I met some members of the Swazi royal family, while visiting the village in which they lived. They kindly and unexpectedly took me to lunch at a nearby restaurant, and were friendly towards me on account of my being related to Hilda Kuper, but sadly I was too young and uninformed to understand or remember precisely which members they were. Other than this kindness, which carried no obligation, I was not hosted by them, nor have I had contact with them before or since. To be absolutely clear: all of these occurrences happened before Wikipedia even existed." zazpot (talk) 18:07, 6 November 2016 (UTC))Reply

Hi Tigercompanion25, you made an edit to Seneleleni Ndwandwe that fixed a typo in the previous edit, which was by User:177.42.223.250. Unfortunately, that previous edit was not constructive: it introduced two unsourced claims ((1) that Seneleleni Ndwandwe was born on 7 July 1928, and (2) that Seneleleni Ndwandwe is still alive), and removed one sourced claim (that Seneleleni Ndwandwe died in 1980). I have just spotted this, and discovered that User:177.42.223.250 seems to have a history of making unsourced claims about people's dates of birth. See, e.g.:
Hey, I looked at the edits in question and agree with you. I got myself a little confused in my edit summaries (my apologies), but I believe I've fixed it so that the unsourced material added by User:177.42.223.250 is removed and the sourced death date restored. Perfect. Thanks Tigercompanion25! The same anonymous user made a similar edit to Zihlathi Ndwandwe/Mkhatjwa, which you also then subsequently similarly edited. I will message you on that article's talk page accordingly, with links to the corresponding edits, and would be grateful if you can help out there as well, as you did here. Thanks again! zazpot (talk) 18:39, 26 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
