natural resources inconsistency

edit

The intro says "The country does not have notable natural resources" but later it says "which are the main sources of employment in rural areas, despite abundant natural resources in iron, zircon, gas, gold, phosphates, and numerous oil discoveries recently". this seems inconsistent, presumably the intro should be updated here? 192.150.10.210 (talk) 21:28, 17 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Form of government

edit

This article currently labels the country as a presidential republic (technically one with a prime minister), which implies that the president is the head of state and government, but the page on the Prime Minister of Senegal labels the Prime Minister as head of government, which would imply something closer to a semi-presidential republic. Could someone take a look at the constitution and address this discrepancy if possible? HapHaxion (talk / contribs) 14:07, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
