editI'd like to read first-hand sources in any form... scanned PDFs, hi-res photos to stitch together, or even just something here. thanks, ptudor (talk) 01:28, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
I was there and saw George repeatedly flick his lighter until he ignited the gas. Saw him pour the gas on his head from a rectangular can (gas can?) It was a senseless and useless exercise and my companion and I felt victimized by his actions. Sure wreaked havoc on our beautiful sunny Mothers Day. Don't understand those who think this was cool or heroic or want monuments to glorify the event. It was horrible. He could have been much more effective alive. Interesting....I eventually became a Firefighter/Medic/Emergency Manager. Saw the aftermath of many burned in accidental fires but George stands out as absurd because he did it to himself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Philwacko (talk • contribs) 05:14, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
Memorial?
editThe first paragraph says the bricks are the memorial, but the second paragraph says they're not. Which is it? Anybody have any cites? I couldn't find any. Esprix (talk) 16:40, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
