Hello Can you please tell me how I can get a link and business description on your website? My site is - http://www.sedberghbooks.co.uk —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.206.42.235 (talk) 09:36, 16 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Can someone merge this page with the Sedburgh as is proposed? I wouldn't know how to...--Gavinio 14:44, 15 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've merged the two articles here as requested and changed Sedburgh to redirect to here. --Achmelvic 16:09, 15 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Bit of trivia, not sure if it merits inclusion in the main article. Cambridge University's Earth Sciences dept. base one of their field trips in Sedbergh.

  • "Sedbergh resident, Sam Rusling was filmed as a contestant on television quiz show, the Weakest Link, in 2006 but the episode was never broadcast after he called the host, Anne Robinson, "dog breath", whilst she was reading a question."

Great stuff, not sure if it belongs here really though! Excalibur 10:14, 3 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

For the record the above fact is untrue and should be removed. I have no idea how it has managed to persist for so long. Sam Rusling.

German

edit

Hello, can anybody help me? I want to translate that page into german, and I dont know how to make a new link for that. Thanks for your help User: Bengaltiger44 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bengaltiger44 (talkcontribs) 11:06, 21 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Go to de:Sedbergh, on German Wikipedia, and create it there. You ought to create a user account for yourself there if you haven't already got one. -- Dr Greg  talk  19:44, 21 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

This link was added to the article after discussion on the WP Reliable Sources Noticeboard. See: WP:RSN exercise. No information from the CCHT link has been put into the body of the article in the form of citations because it has not yet been verified for 100% accuracy by the Victoria County History project for Cumbria. (This will take some years to do). Laplacemat (talk) 11:54, 11 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sedbergh People's Hall needs better refs

edit

Hallo, I've found Sedbergh People's Hall while checking Cumbria articles in the WP:FEB24 backlog drive of unreferenced articles, and added a couple of refs, but it could do with much better sourcing for the detailed content in it. Someone with local sources might like to try to improve it? It was created in 2011 by User:Sphall123, in their only edit before being blocked as having a username suggesting COI. Thanks.
