Ken Purdy wrote in Kings of the Road that the Chadwick was the first supercharged automobile. However, he added that the Chadwick would not be considered supercharged by modern standards. He didn't explain. J S Ayer (talk) 00:24, 15 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
