Shouldn't ISEF have its own page? Cmouse 03:05, 28 Mar 2005 (UTC)

International science fair

edit
I think it really deserves to have one for itself. As a participant of the recent ISEF 2005 in Phoenix, Arizona I now have some experience so I could perhaps write an article. Unfortunatelly I do not have time for it at present, but maybe there are some other experienced people who could do the job... Blahma 16:38, 22 May 2005 (UTC)Reply

westinghouse

edit

does anyone recall any information about a certain Westinghouse science fair competition? i have heard that the Intel fair used to be called the Westinghouse competition or something along those lines... anyone have any info?

Certaintly. The Intel Science Talent Search was for many years the Westinghouse Science Talent Search. Nothing changed, I believe, but the name. Also, there was a time (Tucson 1996 and before) when the Intel International Science fair had no Intel in it. It was pretty similar, just the prize money was lower and the food was a bit worse. Intel still had specific prizes (though they might have been new that year, I don't know) Cmouse 16:08, 12 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Westinghouse still has its own science competition separate from the Science Talent Search! A student can enter both of these as well as ISEF (International Science and Engineering Fair)!

I'm not sure when it evolved this way, but the Intel Science Talent Search (which evolved from the Westinghouse) and the Intel Society for Science and the Intel's ISEF are both being run now by "Society for Science and the Public" http://www.societyforscience.org/history . Their official online history might be a good source for this article. betsythedevine (talk) 23:51, 26 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Elementary School Science Fairs in Nicktoons

edit

I'm hoping that this is relevent enough, so I'm going to mention how Nicktoons have elementary school science fairs as a recurring theme. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Brittany Ka (talkcontribs) 21:07, 10 January 2007 (UTC).Reply
