College?
I just noticed the name of this article is Schreiner College, when in fact when you look it up (Princeton Review, National Center for Education Statistics, even their own website) it's credited as a University. Heck even this article starts out as Schreiner University. The correct article (Schreiner University) directs here. If there is no opposition I will move this Schreiner College over to the correct name of Schreiner University in a few days time. --ImmortalGoddezz 17:47, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- Since there is no opposition, I've added a {{db-g6}} tag on the redirect (Schreiner University), once that is deleted I'll move Schreiner College to Schreiner University. --ImmortalGoddezz 20:32, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
University President
I've noticed on the Schreiner site the president goes by his middle name 'Timothy Summerlin' when his full name is 'Charles Timothy Summerlin' I've changed it his name on the infobox back to 'Charles Summerlin' mainly because there's a link on the 'list of Yale people' etc for him as 'Charles Summerlin' so if any page is created about him this page would be unlinked because he's linked as 'Timothy Summerlin.' Hope that makes sense. --ImmortalGoddezz 15:34, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
Endowment
The page says that Schreiner has $35 million in endowments. However, if you go to http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/college/directory/brief/drglance_3610_brief.php you can see that schreiner actually has closer to $40 million (rounded). I think this should be changed... I don't know how. If there is no opposition, I will find out how to change it. If I can't change it, will some one else do it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.71.37.34 (talk)
- changed it. --ImmortalGoddezz 03:34, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
mascott
I think someone should mention Schreiner's Mascotts (both of them). How about something like: Schreiner University's two mascotts are "Monty" The Mountain Lion, and The Mountaineer. They were voted in by the students in Fall of 2005. The vote resulted in a tie, thus Schreiner University has two mascotts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.71.37.34 (talk)
- The one (mountaineer) is already in an infobox, I'll add the other one. If you want to insert the information about the vote and such into the article go ahead though remember to keep a formal tone. --ImmortalGoddezz 03:37, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
Untitled section
Why is the academic description of the university as a liberal arts university in quotation marks? Who is being quoted? Or is there some doubt that the university is actually a liberal arts institution? Perhaps the use of quotation marks in this instance should be reconsidered.
