Sarah Edwards
editHi. Per WP:QUALIFIER and wiki naming conventions, Sara would be considered an American actress. As you so rightly pointed out, there is already a Sarah Edwards (American actress). So following the conventions and guidelines, your article should be titled, Sarah Edwards (American actress, born xxxx) - subsequent to your creating the article, the current article would then also have to be renamed with that actress' birthdate. Make sense? I wish you well on the article, she certainly deserves one. Onel5969 (talk) 17:29, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
- Another thing, Clibenfoart - I've written a few articles on actors/actresses from this time period. I don't know how in-depth you intend to make your article, but this site is an excellent resource to get some good information on older actors. It's tedious and time-consuming, but you can come away with some great stuff. Just remember to put "Sarah Edwards" in quotes in the search field if you do use it. Again, good luck. - Thanks for the website, Onel5969, I took a little information about Sarah Edwards stage career from it. I'm not so familiar with those conventions in the English Wikipedia. I made the article under the caption Sarah Edwards (Actress, born 1881) and I also renamed the other actress into Sarah Edwards (Actress, born 1984). I felt that the "American" in the caption is expendable as both actresses are (at least partwise) Americans. Can I say that I liked your articles about Tom Fadden, Virginia Sale and Russell Gleason very much? (Especially because there are so many shabby articles about unknown old actors). There are still some small-part-actors who still deserve an article - Edward Fielding and Adeline de Walt Reynolds are on my list, because I made them already on the German Wikipedia. --Clibenfoart (talk) 19:37, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
- Clibenfoart - will respond on your talk page. Onel5969 (talk) 22:33, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
