Reason for American English
editHi there, I've set the variant of the Sasaeng fan article to American English.
Reason:
- A lot of South Korea-related articles are in en-US (see Talk:BTS, Talk:South Korea).

Houda's notes
editI had a look at your draft and I really liked the content. All information used was supported by a resource and it seems you have done a lot of research (which I really appreciate). One thing I was thinking about concerns the "In popular culture". I was wondering if you could add more information about this drama in terms of the plot and the audience reviews. I was thinking as well about if existing, of course, any responses and reactions to this drama from idols who have been through the trauma of sasaeng fan. Otherwise, I like everything else. Good luck and keep up with the wonderful job you are doing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Houdabe (talk • contribs) 19:01, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
Example is not extreme or disruptive behaviour
editIn the "background" section of the article is this sentence: "With the rapid development of the Korean popular culture industry and the spread of the Hallyu wave internationally in the 2000s and recent years, increasingly extreme and disruptive fan behaviors towards Korean idols and celebrities have also been witnessed abroad, with some international fans even flying to South Korea in order to attend concerts of their idols." I don't see how flying to attend a concert is seen as extreme or disruptive behaviour. I'm removing that part. KRLA18 (talk) 08:26, 22 September 2018 (UTC)
Proposed additions to article
editHi. Ok so I am working on editing this article for an assignment for one of my classes, and I would love to add more on this topic. The following are some of the sections and sub-sections that I think could improve this page. 1. Motives for sasaeng behavior Here I would focus on why sasaeng fans commit such actions and what their motivations are for their actions. A subsections for this section would be "sasaeng fans vs anti-fans" noting the differences in motivation 2. Methods and Tactics This focusses on what tactics and tools sasaengs use to carry out their actions. Here I talk about the increased use of social media and things such as sasaeng taxis. 3. Responses from Companies and Idols While we do have a "selected incidents" section, I think that the responses from idols and companies is equally important to note, since it gives an idea of how idols and their companies feel about sasaeng behavior. A subsection here would be "effects on idols," noting some of the traumas left behind from sasaeng activities. I have used D.O.form EXO and Heechul from Super Junior as examples here. Please let me know what you think of these edits and if they are too much, too little, or unnecessary! I have a draft in my sandbox, so please feel free to read it and give feedback.Agarbacz (talk) 19:48, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
