copying of material
editI do not agree with the copying of material from the Sa'sa' done by User:Arminden. Why not just have a link to the e Sa'sa' article?? Now, this article even lacks a bibliography section, making the references not always comprehensible. I suggest we take it out.Huldra (talk) 23:48, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
- Too bad. This ridiculous, agenda-driven separation of segments of the history of the same one place into 2 articles in order to emphasise Arab Palestinian issues is beyond non-scientific and non-encyclopedic, it's laughable. Was Arab Sa'sa' closer connected to the Bronze Age settlement than the Jewish kibbutz? I was very accommodating, I obviously didn't erase anything at Sa'sa', that place "owned" its history as much as Sasa does, but there is no reason to leave the history to just one "side". What I would advise Huldra, Al-Ameer Son etc., is to be more thorough at separating the material chronologically. I did it on the Sasa page, it has yet to be done for Sa'sa'. Feel free to copy & paste. The 1972 excavations for instance yielded results from the Ottoman period (Dhaher/Zaher-era fortress), there is no reason to place that under "State of Israel". Or would you like repositioning discoveries from the 19th or early 20th c. to the Late Ottoman or Mandate period, when the finds themselves date to the Bronze Age or Medieval period?
- Until we can one day agree to combine such page-twins into one and solve all this doubling issues, well, until then, good luck to us all with the mess.Arminden (talk) 15:02, 25 November 2016 (UTC)
