Birthplace
editGeordie? South Shields????? 85.210.64.249 (talk) 22:52, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
- Geordie includes South Shields. Information yes (talk) 20:33, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- One source in the article says she grew up in South Shields, but her birthplace is not referenced. Jim Michael (talk) 04:56, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
- What about date of birth?--203.79.96.4 (talk) 23:24, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
- Her date and place of birth are now both reliably sourced. Jim Michael (talk) 14:39, 12 November 2013 (UTC)
Accuracy of biographical information
editPlease be sure that all biographical information is cited to a source that we can verify to be correct. We must be very careful with the accuracy of content related to living persons. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 17:28, 14 January 2011 (UTC) mackem shes sunderland — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.2.88.193 (talk) 02:08, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
"Regional accent"
editIs the "retains her regional accent" bit really necessary? Is she expected to ditch it as soon as she reaches the giddy heights of telly? Condescension much? It's not even called Geordie, just "regional accent". Sorry we in the provinces talk real funny and all that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.30.163.146 (talk) 12:11, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
- Changed. Jim Michael (talk) 21:36, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
- Regional accents are normal in both the USA and the UK. No need to comment on them.203.184.41.226 (talk) 05:07, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
How this page could be better structured
editI have just added how Sarah Millican appeared on the "Marriage Ref", but did wonder whether it is the best place for it. I wonder whether the article would be better structured if there were subheadings for her television and radio work.
About her early life
editWas it not the case that following her divorce, she went to see a psycho-therapist and her psycho-therapist advised her to go into comedy? ACEOREVIVED (talk) 00:00, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
