Population decrease
editthe article says that the population decreased to some 6,000 after the war. What was the population before the decrease? Any idea? That would be interesting to have in the article. Ostap 23:56, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
- I will try to find some sources on it. World War One was a disaster for Sandomierz, as it was located right on the border. The Russians and the Austrians fought here for a long time, which ended in widespread destruction. Tymek (talk) 15:01, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
Area
editThe area of the proposed voivodeship is not lcear- is it 24,500 km2 or 24.500 km2? I think it is the former as 24.5 km2 seems very small. I suspect the original author was using the period as a thousands seperator. This is confusing to a lay English reader. I have replace the periods with a comma.Wkharrisjr (talk) 17:42, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
