Rewrite/voice section
editI've rewritten the page again, to try and make a more detailed description of the show in its own right, and to give the Tugs section some context about that series (so it doesn't completely rely on previous knowledge of the show). I've left the voice cast bit alone for now, but I want to change it because I'm still not sure about all of them (there are a lot of actors put on there who aren't in the show's credits at all.) For reference, the credits state:
Casting/Voice Director: Terry Klassen Voice Talents of: Kathleen Barr, Rhys Huber, Janyse Jaud, Andrea Libman, Ian James Corlett, Paul Dobson, Scott McNeil, French Tickner, Lenore Zann — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.0.149.100 (talk) 20:31, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
Cast list cleanup (PLEASE READ BEFORE EDITING THE CAST SECTION)
editI have split the cast list into characters from the TUGS segments of the show, and the animated "Salty" segments. I also have tried to clean up the list of roles alongside each actor, as some characters were listed twice. So far, I am only leaving voice credits which I am certain of, based on what I have seen of the show.
Please, could someone who is a bit more familiar with Salty's Lighthouse, and can recognise voice actors (most of these actors you've probably heard from other cartoons) fill in some more of the roles? And don't just copy-paste what was here before. At least 2 of the TUGS segments are on Youtube; listen to those and and post the ones you're CERTAIN of.
Also, if you have seen more episodes of the show, it would help to fix any inaccurate information.
To make it clear Boomer, Zug and Zorran were voiced by two actors. I am rather familiar with the ones ive seen which are three and part of another, I could tell that Scott McNeill was indeed Zorran, Zug and Boomer in those notably since Boomer and Zug sound more the same, they sound like a character from League of Super Evil, shich said character is voiced by Scott McNeil.
Also I can tell that Big Stack was voiced by Daubson considering the similarity compared to the voice he provides to Ape from George of the Jungle. As well as Donovan and Baldry with Warrior, Steamer, Top Hat and Hercules, as they both participated in AoSth as Robotnik and Wes Weasley. Zero also sounds alot like Tickner as ive heard him in AoSth aswell. And with Zann's Captain Star.
Sorry for the length of my comment but im making a point of what im familliar with, as soon as I see more I will tell more. I am good at identifing voice actors. - Bladez636 (talk · contribs)
Important!
editTwo important items for those who expand this article;
1. For the differences between tugs and SL section, please list your bits of info in an orderly fashion as below
- a-/////////////////////////////
- b-/////////////////////////////
- c-/////////////////////////////
2. Please do not add false information; this is a struggling article that has just been expanded.Ohyeh 00:46, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Question
editFor anyone who saw this cartoon, was Thomas the tank engine ever involved? Signed By Unknow12.
No he wasn't.
I have a question of my own to ask. Was Robert Cardona (producer and co-creator of the original "Tugs") involved in "SL" at all, and if so what was his specific role?
Cardona is listed in the end credits as "Creator of Boats Live-Action Segments" (the credits refer to the TUGS footage segments as "boat segments", as opposed to the rest of the animation in the show. However, I'd guess Sunbow just contacted him for the rights to use the footage, rather than him actually being involved in "Salty's" production.
In order to even know what to ask next, please [?]:
When??
Apply "when" to everything, every element, of this article, please.

About Salty's Lighthouse
editThis show was the best the US could get for tugs. I watched a episode when the seagulls said "We don't wanna look at tugs right now!", I guess they wanted the tugs to have their own show and not alongside the tugs! Snuggleblanket (talk) 21:20, 11 October 2016 (UTC)
