only the starting portion of my article is visible
editI have added an article to Wikipedia, and it was visible five minutes ago, but now I can only see the beginning portion. Why is that, and how can I fix it? Deepak Kunjuttiparambil (talk) 08:52, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
- Hello Deepak. Another editor edited the article. Wikipedia is a collaborative project. In case of a disagreement among editors, a decision what to do is reached through consensus. The content that was removed is not suitable for an encylopedic summary of this topic. As I agree with that editor, I have boldly restored their change. The most common way to reach consensus in a situation like this is to follow the BOLD, revert, discuss cycle. Sincerely —Alalch E. 10:53, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
- I published the article based on the guidelines of Wikipedia. It is not a promotional post; it's an informative article. Deepak Kunjuttiparambil (talk) 11:20, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for the article. What we currently have is a reasonably good start. The most expedient approach to bringing the article to a better state by expanding it with additional information is for you to add, in separate, incremental edits, each item that you believe is needed, and we can go over each and discuss it. Most of the information that was removed is detail about various facilities which are common in malls, and this is of questionable encyclopedic relevance. The information about which stores are the anchor stores is not found in the source used to support the claim about the anchor stores. Some of the information did not have a corresponding reference. Please be prepared for your additions to be reverted because this is a normal and necessary part of collaborative work on a Wikipedia article. —Alalch E. 12:11, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
