edit

the map doesn't show kaliningrad as orange and therefore part of russia(its a piece of land inbetween poland and Lithuania). also it does not show crimea as part of russia however this is a separate issue.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.96.14.189 (talk) 16:53, 15 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

This page contains SUBSTANTIAL material that pre-dated the creation of the United Kingdom. The title United Kingdom-Russin relations is clealry inaccurate. However, as so many pointless disambiguation pages have been created, it has been made very difficult to move it to something that actually makes sense. I'm temporarily moving it back whilst I unpick this mess. Indisciplined (talk) 01:13, 20 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Maybe that section could be split into another article.--87.92.119.10 (talk) 14:16, 5 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Let's wait on a split until the article gets too long. Rjensen (talk) 18:15, 17 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

UK-Russian declassified documents in the 2000s

edit

Pechatnov, Vladimir; Rajak, Svetozar (July 1, 2016). "British-Soviet relations in the Cold War, 1943-1953 documentary evidence project. British-Soviet Relations in the Cold War, 1943-1953 Documentary Evidence Project". Second World War (academic project) (in English and Russian). Russian Academy of Sciences, British Academy and LSE IDEAS: Abstract. Archived from the original on June 30, 2017. affrims that "Both Russia and the UK have declassified vast amounts of contemporary material from the highest levels of government, which can help us get much closer to understanding approaches and decision-making than was the case only a few years ago." It seems to be a WP:reliable source.

Properly, it is not published within an academic journal, even if it is a bilateral UK-Russia academic project. I am not sure if the use of template:cite publication is correct. I apologize in advance if it is not. Regards, Theologian81sp

Lack of Sources in the Lead Paragraph

edit

The lead paragraph gives a brief history of the Russo-British relationship but provides almost next to nothing in sources for these claims. Could somebody add sources to substantiate the claims made or else it would seem like the article is providing unverifiable original research Wpakxl (talk) 07:44, 19 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

SO.

edit

Like 2 - 4 days ago UK started gathering army to fight the Russia. When does this get added to the wikipedia? (Pretty dumb question, sorry) Average Curious guy (talk) 08:37, 29 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Relations with Scotland

edit

This page is called Russia-United Kingdom relations, yet the story begins before the Union of the Crowns, let alone the Acts of Union. The pre-union parts seem exclusively to relate to England, with no mention of Scottish affairs. Robin S. Taylor (talk) 23:00, 1 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
