Though, the four earlier editions articles are named like "Rugby union at the 19XX Summer Olympics", and the upcoming are Rugby sevens at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Maybe that is quite okay, but feels somewhat strange... 82.141.67.208 (talk) 18:02, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

Keep, with links to the other relevant articles, which I'm about to add, so this should eventually become a master article covering all future sevens Olympiads, and linking detailed articles for each individual Olympiad. Tlhslobus (talk) 22:23, 2 February 2014 (UTC)

Also, this seems to be the standard way of dealing with Olympic sports, although Rugby sevens has the minor anomaly of being related to Rugby fifteens which was in most Olympics from 1900 to 1924, and which has its own separate article, which I've now linked to this one. The volleyball articles are currently separate articles, probably for good reasons. But in any case even if the reasons are bad, here is not the place to discuss volleyball articles. As for combining the 2 rugby articles into one, they actually have very little in common (and what little they have in common can be dealt with by links between articles), and many readers will probably only be interested in one of the articles.
