Should we move this to Rovio Entertainment?
editShould we move this to Rovio Entertainment now, cos that's its current official name? – Fanatix 13:36, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- Hmmm, we could really use some sources indicating the name change in the article. Then, I would support a move to the correct name, with Rovio Mobile remaining as a redirect. --McDoobAU93 15:42, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- These are the news sources from mid-2011 which indicate that Rovio has indeed changed its official name from Rovio Mobile Oy to Rovio Entertainment Ltd: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424053111904480904576498460747826834.html?mod=googlewsj and http://www.itproportal.com/2011/08/10/angry-birds-franchise-expanding-cook-book-releasing-soon/. — Preceding unsigned comment added by KLITE789 (talk • contribs) 02:20, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
Piggy Tales
editI think someone should add that a new Toons.tv series "Piggy Tales" has 2 episodes available on Toons.tv — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.48.223.23 (talk) 16:22, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
Writing style not appropriate for Wikipedia
edit"A victory with a real-time multiplayer game"...?
This is an encyclopaedia, not a tacky editorial. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.9.176.129 (talk) 18:31, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
Game availability on PC/Mac: Where is this info coming from?
editIn the table of Rovio games, it shows availability by platform. Mobile platforms say Yes or TBA, but next to PC/Mac on the most recent games, it says NO. There are no citations. Where is the source of this information? I've never seen Rovio state that any of those games (except Epic) definitely won't be released on PC/Mac. --Kel (talk) 19:29, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
Can anyone provide a reliable source that Love Rocks starring Shakira is no longer a Rovio product? Meters (talk) 19:43, 27 May 2018 (UTC)
Peter Vesterbacka
editPeter Vesterbacka redirects to Angry Birds, but there is very little information about him other than that he is associated with Rovio Entertainment. But this article doesn't even mention him. Would someone resolve please? (Following up a link from Helsinki-Tallinn Tunnel). --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 11:47, 8 March 2019 (UTC)
- John Maynard Friedman, Vesterbacka appears to have bern Chief Marketing Officer for Rovio between 2010 and 2016 (list of credits, LinkedIn profile). This position doesn't appear in secondary sources, though, so I'd argue that any of the companies he co-founded would be a better target, or if none has an article, the redirect should be deleted.
