Some corrections Ron was playing with Lotan Fisher (and allegedly cheating) long before 2008. he was accused of cheating in competitions with Lotan since 2004 or 2005... They received some minor ban and was advised not to play together but eventually the charges were dropped.

BLP and repeated requests for deletion denied
edit- A clear WP:ATTACK page.
- Almost all the sources are from bulletins not articles. The only other source also creates another BLP problems such as WP:BLP1E given that the subject is only notable for this 1 event.
- (It MIGHT also be an issue of WP:BLPCRIME because subject was never convicted) .

- User Caseeart has tried on 3 separate occasions to have the main page removed. On all 3 occasions the page was restored. See https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Ron_Schwartz for most recent discussion. Ron, with partner Lotan Fisher, is an open Bridge World Champion. As such, he is deserving of a Wikipedia entry based on bridge accomplishments. Ron & Lotan have both been found guilty of cheating by ACBL, IBF and EBL. The statement that 'subject was never convicted' is false. The IBF decision is http://main.bridge.co.il/uploads/files/sec/sec-decision-30-en.pdf. The 9 page EBL decision is http://www.eurobridge.org/Data/Sites/1/media/documents/EBL_FS_Decision.pdf. The ACBL decision is http://www.acbl.org/recent-disciplinary-decisions/.Nicolas.hammond (talk) 14:29, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
- This is not an attack article. Schwartz was convicted of cheating by multiple jurisdictions. Reference to cheating are factual and well sourced. Repeated requests for deletion of this article by the same user are unwarranted and are (IMHO) akin to the violation of the three-revert rule and the requestor should be sanctioned. Having said that I am not aware of the Wiki protocol to stop such abuse. Newwhist (talk) 15:56, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
Merge with Fisher and Schwartz cheating scandal?
editThere doesn't appear to be any notability beyond the cheating scandal, which is better covered at Fisher and Schwartz cheating scandal. The biographical articles for Fisher and Schwartz also are not consistent in tone and detail around current status for the players. I am inclined to think they should be merged and edited in a single consistent article, but am happy to hear if I am missing a case for individual notability. --Thomas Craven (talk) 12:16, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
