So, where is the information ABOUT Suisse Romande???????????
editHi. Seventy-five per cent of informationon this page is about the origins of the work, what the word means, what the people call themselves etc. What about the region? The economy, tourism, cultural aspects, geography etc etc etc .... Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 13:19, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
This is a do-it-yourself project. If you know anything about the subject, contribute it. Rhetorical questions are useless.Campolongo (talk) 11:41, 4 April 2013 (UTC)

Suisse romande. → Suisse romande – The point at the end of the title is a mistake but it is not possible to move to "Suisse romande". Can somebody help me with this and move the page to "Suisse romande" without the point mistake? Thanks! Limnalid (talk) 21:47, 9 October 2013 (UTC)
- Support, but you should have asked at technical move requests instead. This should be speedied. --Article editor (talk) 01:06, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

Suisse romande → Romandy – Anglicisation of Romandie. – Article editor (talk) 23:35, 23 August 2015 (UTC)
- @Article editor: This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:25, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
- If accepted, first move existing page Romandy aside to e.g. Romandy (version 2). Do not history-merge, as these 2 pages are very different at the supposed cut-and-paste point and there is some edit date/time overlap between them (ignoring redirect edits). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:25, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
- Support Also, I would move the history of Romandy to e.g. Romandy (Switzerland), since that looks like a more plausible redirect than Romandy (version 2). --Article editor (talk) 16:08, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
- Strong support – Not sure why the French name is being used here. RGloucester — ☎ 12:57, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
- Strong support and agree with User:Article editor's emendation. Fulfills the guideline of "naturalness" well. — the Man in Question (in question)
- Comment I think that Romandy (version 2) is a bad idea, since it creates a redirect that cannot ever be used. Instead the edit history at Romandy should be displaced to Romandy (Switzerland), which is atleast a plausible redirect, thus a useful bluelink. -- 67.70.32.190 (talk) 05:30, 25 August 2015 (UTC)

Hatnote
editAbcmaxx, the titles in your version of the hatnote do NOT redirect here because your change puts this article into Category:Missing redirects. I haven't checked if the only problem is the quotation marks, but something is wrong. MB 00:30, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- @User:MB They definitely do though, see for yourself: Romandie, Romande, Suisse Romande, French Switzerland, Francophone Switzerland and Francophone region of Switzerland. Abcmaxx (talk) 00:33, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- Abcmaxx, but you put them all in quotation marks into one parameter. The template only accepts 2 titles in separate parameters. Try
{{redirect-multi}}
. MB 00:40, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

- @User:MB fixed, should be ok now. Abcmaxx (talk) 00:53, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
