Rancho Cotate info
editDoes anyone have info on Rancho Cotate? Thanks, Ronbo76 17:29, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- There's some good info in the Cotati, California article. Stepheng3 (talk) 20:32, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Transit?
editMany city articles have a “Transportatoin” section. Does Rohnert Park have light rail, commuter rail, or high-speed rail? 96.255.148.189 (talk) 13:19, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
- It has none of those. Anastrophe (talk) 15:41, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
Please stop putting that massive police incident story
editI live near Rohnert Park and while this case is important it doesn't warrant a massive paragraph about it. I was nice enough to make a whole ARTICLE for Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety and add it there. There is no need for such a large mention on a page about the city. There are many police incidents, even shootings, that do not have any mention on the page of the city where it occurred. Police brutality and misconduct happens EVERYDAY. There is no mention of the Shooting of Eric Courtney Harris on the Tulsa article, or Shooting of Douglas Zerby on the Long Beach, California page, let alone such a big one. Not to mention these were DEATHS. There was also a teen named Jeremiah Chass shot dead by police in Sebastopol (near Rohnert Park) which had quite a bit of media attention, but there is absolutely no mention of it on the Sebastopol page.
The case really isn't that notable, and probably will be forgotten. I'd rather focus on the more serious incidents of police misconduct that need to take up so much space on a location article. Cyanidethistles (talk) 17:16, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
- I concur. WP:UNDUE and WP:NOTABILITY for sure. Anastrophe (talk) 17:21, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
