I've deleted a portion of this article. It needed deletion. Vincentanton 04:17, 11 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Still needs sources

edit

I made some stylistic changes, and also eliminated or changed some sentences that were obviously complementing Rockport. I am new to Wikipedia and will learn how to add sources, etc. This page really needs citations.Killamator 03:35, 14 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

American Podiatric Medical Association

edit

Included with my recently-purchased Rockport walking shoes is a tag stating: "This product has been awarded the seal of acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association.

This product has been accepted by APMA because it, Allows for normal foot function Promotes good foot health Contains high quality materials Is manufactured with the consumer's comfort and safety in mind"

Isn't that nifty. I have never seen this tag-type in any shoes I have purchased. No idea if the inclusion indicates actual quality or whatever. 24.206.248.102 (talk) 18:37, 13 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Pro forma COI declaration

edit

I've made a couple minor edits to this article and should note that I'm a shoe retailer with a Rockport account since 1985 or so. I am not receiving any financial considerations from the company for these edits. We do less than $5,000 annually in sales of Rockport products, a very minor portion of our business. —Tim Davenport, Corvallis, OR /// Carrite (talk) 19:29, 3 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
