Important contributors missing
editThere is no mention of Ricky Nelson and his famed guitarist James Burton. They both contributed immensely to rockabilly with tracks like Stood Up/Waitin' In School, and its popluarization. This is important missing information in this article! 2001:4653:313E:0:84AB:7B46:406:5397 (talk) 08:18, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
- Not necessarily against this, but it would be helpful to have a citation for their contributions to rockabilly. Ghmyrtle (talk) 11:45, 19 September 2023 (UTC)
Also misses many pioneer african american musicians such as Rosetta Tharpe, Arthur Crudup, Fats Domino and many others 161.116.133.169 (talk) 13:26, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
- They are very much covered in other articles, like Rock and roll, and Origins of rock and roll - but not this one which deals with a very specific (and overwhelmingly white) genre. Ghmyrtle (talk) 13:35, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
