Title Correction

edit

The official title seems to be "Rock On 2", without the exclamation marks, as apparent from official souces including youtube channel and twitter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RedBookCamel (talkcontribs) 14:29, 29 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

According to Bollywood Hungama, you stand corrected, my friend. Best, Nairspecht (talk) (work) 06:28, 30 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

You're right. Moving page now! Best, Nairspecht (talk) 13:02, 13 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

User:Taniya94 seems to like roman II in the title, which has no mention in any media..till the official censor certificate comes out, can this page be moved back to Rock On 2 ?RedBookCamel (talk) 16:01, 25 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

There is a hand, showing two straight fingers in the official logo. Nowhere in the poster shows the digit "2" to define the sequel. Roman "II" is visually more similar to the straight fingers shown in the logo.Taniya94 (talk) 17:08, 25 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
The official verified sources I've listed above all use "2" to represent the title. Like I said, till the official censor board certificate comes out, please move the page back to "Rock On 2" — Preceding unsigned comment added by RedBookCamel (talkcontribs) 03:02, 26 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Box Office Speculations

edit

So this has become an issue. My opinion is that the speculations are baseless, arbitrarily made by newspapers without any data. TheGoodLion compares it with Prometheus (2012 film) and opines that the content should stay. Please discuss. Jean Stair (talk) 14:50, 10 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

It's not useless. I'm sorry but u haven't read more publications and sites, Box office projections have been done for decades. Major Hollywood prints like The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Deadline.com and Box Office Mojo has this as a trend now and there's no harm to it. In the West (Hollywood), studio executives give their own projections which a relatively more conservative than industry forecast – that is why to range is there and not a solid number. These are projections – a concoction of studio estimates and industry forecast. These are no way just random numbers put forward by random people. They are backed by certain factors as I've written before from IBT. Read more movie articles, especially Hollywood movies as they contain projections before the actual numbers. There's no harm, no rules to say this is illegal in Wiki. User:TheGoodLion —Preceding undated comment added 15:28, 10 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
