Writing period
editI think that this line in the infobox is for published writings only, but I could be wrong. 71.194.32.252 (talk) 03:01, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Hi. Thanks. Yep, I was wondering if the writing period directly referred to the occupation. Sometimes one can write/create but not necessarily publish. I'm checking with Kuntz on this for the particulars.

- The infobox is for "writers", specifically clarified as "game designer" in this case. The "writing period" attribute is often left out (q.v. JRRT, HPL, ACC, etc.) and advisedly so given that it can easily lead to disagreement/conflict as to /what/ that actually means. For example, EGG is shown as "1971-" which cannot be directly compared with what's currently given (1972-) for RJK.
- 1972- here is probably fair enough "excuse" if considering and explaining what's directly leading to published material but if considering actual credits (not even as co-author) that would probably go back to (1974-). JM-02c, anyhow. :) Harami2000 (talk) 16:15, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- Update to first published reference in 1973 looks good, thanks. Harami2000 (talk) 16:16, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
Howdy ho, Harami2000 . . and thanks. Rhuvein (talk) 16:23, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I did rather imply that I was watching! Shall wait until you transfer over from your sandbox, though, to see how the article's panning out. ;) Keep up the good work. Cheers, David. Harami2000 (talk) 16:59, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
