Copy violation or original research
editThis article is a problem because it arrived in one go on 28 May 2004 from an IP address 82.34.83.208. The same IP address copied an article strait into Wkipedia See "Dell'Arcano del Mare" in May 2004. Apparently the "Dell'Arcano del Mare" was copied from a website called W. Graham Arader III of Houston. We are the Texas location of the Arader and it is possible this article came from the same site. I leave that for further investigation.
I can not find this a copy of this article on the internet that prelates 2004 and its creation here (just mirror sites). But there are quotes in this article that I can not find on the internet. That is not to say that they do not exist, but usually in a Wikipedia document at least some of the quotes can be verified from an online source. There for it is my intention to move this article to a sub page of this talk page called Talk:Robert Holborne/2004 and then redirect the page back to Robert Holborne. By doing this and we do in fact find out that the page is not OR or a copyright violation then the redirect can be reverted and an admin can move the page moved back into place and merge the histories of the old and new articles.
I intend to copy the Dictionary of National Biography source from Wikisource to Robert Holborne as the foundation for a new article. Currently the page that holds the text on Robert Holborne on Wikisource: has been proofread, but not validated (proofread by two contributors), so it is located at s:Page:Dictionary of National Biography volume 27.djvu/125 -- PBS (talk) 04:15, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
- @Philip Baird Shearer: this article still has close paraphrasing from the wikisource, which constitutes plagiarism. (I am not watching this page, so please ping me if you want my attention.) wumbolo ^^^ 14:59, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
