Revision Complete

edit

Hello everyone,

With class ending, my revision of this page has been finalized; I leave it in your capable hands. I will probably not be checking this talk page for suggestions with any regularity, if at all. Many thanks to EKM2018 (talk), William Wilcock (talk), ErraticGeologist (talk), and Tenzinsonam995 (talk) for their help and feedback on my draft.

Draft Revision Complete

edit

Hello everyone,

The draft for my revision of this article is now complete. I have corrected and expanded the mechanics of ridge push, added the history of the concept since the first proposal of continental drift in 1912, and added the significance of ridge push with respect to other forces in plate tectonics, as well as examples of unusual places and conditions that deviate from the more general significance. Given its shiny new content, I have taken the liberty of removing the stub tag from the main article, although I'm leaving the class designation here on the talk page for other editors to decide. Please review my work and leave any suggestions you think might help my development of the article or my editing style either here or on my talk page.

Thank you!
