Contested deletion
editThis page is not unambiguously promotional, because it has been edited down to bare bones, publicly available and referenced facts. BPJ (talk) 08:59, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
"Professor" Benham is not listed on the staff page for Coventry University. He may have been / may be a visiting professor. What referenced facts are you citing? — Preceding unsigned comment added by VP-DTT (talk • contribs) 19:57, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
Notability
editThis article has been tagged as "The topic of this article may not meet Wikipedia's notability guideline for biographies." However, the guideline states, under "Academics", that "Many scientists, researchers, philosophers and other scholars (collectively referred to as "academics" for convenience) are notably influential in the world of ideas without their biographies being the subject of secondary sources." That exactly describes the subject of this article (specifically, his contribution towards cyber security) and therefore I maintain it does meet the guideline. BPJ (talk) 08:35, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
There is one publication a working paper listed on Google Scholar [1] on which "Professor" Benham is listed as second author. I would like to see evidence that he actually holds a university chair. He is not listed on the staff pages of Coventry University.
This should be contrasted with other Professors such as Bill Buchanan and Alan Woodward.VP-DTT (talk) 20:05, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
