Why not hexAcontahedron?
editWhy isn't it spelled "hexacontahedron?" RobertLovesPi (talk) 19:23, 31 October 2019 (UTC)
Translation of reference title
editI don't understant the reasoning for this [1] revision. The title of the reference was translated correctly, and both changes introduced by this revision are incorrect. I am reverting it. --Pedro Fonini (talk) 22:55, 26 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Pedro Fonini: "polihedron" is not an English word (the correct spelling is "polyhedron"). The current version (that you reverted to) is also not grammatical, whereas the hyphenated version of Kwékwlos is. Are you sure you did not misread the diff? --JBL (talk) 16:36, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- @JayBeeEll: My bad about the Y in polyhedron (but it really shouldn't be the plural "polyhedra"). I still don't understand why "handicraft anticipated discovery" is not grammatical, though. The verb is "to anticipate" (i.e. "act as a forerunner or precursor of"), and "Handicraft" is the subject. Maybe there should be more articles, is "Handicraft anticipated the discovery of a polyhedron" better? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pedro Fonini (talk • contribs)
- @Pedro Fonini: My apologies for the (very) delayed response (pings don't work if you don't sign your message in the same edit, and I only just noticed your comment). Yes, your last version is better. I will implement it. All the best, JBL (talk) 14:35, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
Include use as Wolfram Alpha logo
edit@JayBeeEll: The use of the polyhedron as Wolfram Alpha logo should be included, it is notable and the wording wasn't overly spam like. Maybe use a different ref. Jonpatterns (talk) 20:04, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
