Quakers on the Restauration

edit

I've been reviewing some of the sources on the sloopers (among them Lovoll's book, Vivacious Daughter, and an article in Norwegian-American Studies), and it isn't altogether clear how many were Quakers. It is clear that many had Quaker sympathies and interests, and even more were Haugians in one way or another; but it might not be entirely accurate to say that this was a Quaker group. --Leifern 12:48, 9 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on Restauration (ship). Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Sweden–Norway?

edit

In the infobox, the ship seems to have been built in the union of Sweden–Norway in 1801, but Norway was under Denmark until 1814, as far as I know. I don’t want to be hasty and edit things, but I think this might be incorrect. Let me know if I’m wrong, though. Thanks. Momsemann (talk) 06:11, 8 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

I looked into who added it, and as far as I could tell, User:Sheila1988 added it in this edit. Maybe they can give an insight into the problem. Momsemann (talk) 06:19, 8 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
