Can somebody else confirm that the Smart Growth Code 2.0 refered to in the article is the same as this research called Smart Growth Codes ? Thanks. 174.6.87.98 (talk) 05:51, 19 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Total bullshit

edit

Every word of this article reads like PR for some jerry-building developer. Cluster housing is about cramming as many separately-saleable houses on the same small piece of land, that would otherwise accomodate far fewer. I was tempted to delete the whole thing, and did remove some of the crap in the lead, but it really needs complete reworking. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.44.29.52 (talk) 08:47, 20 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Grammar and Wording

This article... is interesting. I'm not sure that the person who wrote it had a firm grasp on the English language, and now that I"m reading it more thoroughly, I also wonder whether said person works for a developer. 199.58.81.144 (talk) 18:13, 7 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Clearly Biased Article

edit

It's difficult to argue that this article wasn't written by a developer, as there is a "Benefits" section with clear points, and the "Issues" section is wordy and just serves as a talk-around of how they came to be. It appears that there is enough history with these developments that there should be information on how they affect surrounding property value, yet this is not even acknowledged. Also, typical design should be addressed. Are these often multi-story units? Are they similar to apartment complexes, or how do they compare?
