Necessary changes links to sources
editThe text is mainly links to sites and news (there is only a Bunge's non-special work of religion and a couple of others). The Wiki rules require, first of all, to be based on books published in scientific publications, and it is possible to supplement others. Now the article does not look serious (as a sample, look at this article in the Indonesian Wikipedia).
On March 4 and 5 I added not a small list of scientific literature, the new info that indigenous religions are already recognized by the Indonesian constitutional court, and began processing the article from the preamble. Unfortunately, Balolay completely canceled all my edits (I've already restored the bibliography). Please support the initiated changes. DayakSibiriak (talk) 23:04, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'll do. DayakSibiriak (talk) 08:22, 15 March 2019 (UTC)

- Now fixed - it was "distrust"/ Davidelit (Talk) 03:52, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks so much Davidelit for sorting that out! "Incoherence" is about right ... all better now. Cheers DBaK (talk) 07:30, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
Indonesia Religions Map innacuracy
edit"Modernist Islam" and "Traditional Islam" are not sects of Islam, as shown otherwise in the map. Furthermore the sourcing of this map seems nonexistent and dubious. I think this issue needs to be addressed.
I'm wondering if the last portion of ===Hinduism=== is relavant
edit"There are also some international Hindu reform movements, including the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, Sathya Sai Organization,[7] Chinmaya Mission, Brahma Kumaris, Ananda Marga, Sahaja Yoga, and Haidakhandi Samaj.[77]" What were the impact of those movements on Hinduism in Indonesia?ThomasYehYeh (talk) 02:21, 18 June 2022 (UTC)

Potential removal of Pancasila's requirement for Indonesia's citizens to state "the One and almighty God"
editIn the introduction of the article we bring up the Pancasila's requirement for Indonesian citizens to state "the One and almighty God" and how that relates to the official discrimination of religious minorities. However, on the article for the Pancasila we acknowledge that the translation is imprecise and is likely meant as the principle of living together in a society with a diversity of religions and beliefs. 50.222.187.196 (talk) 14:46, 14 April 2023 (UTC)

edit@Ckfasdf: I am very confident in my excel calculation https://imageupload.io/87R3yEJxPQzGhZ6 Total population is 277.7 and not 276!. Bayoka55 (talk) 15:32, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
- Your calculation is clearly wrong, it exceeds 100% https://imageupload.io/ewZdpPXW3MqU5I1 Bayoka55 (talk) 15:40, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Bayoka55: After further looking up the data, my calculation formula did not wrong. However, it is dataset taken from https://satudata.kemenag.go.id/dataset/detail/jumlah-penduduk-menurut-agama that actually have mistake (see https://imageupload.io/oRXva5KPsqWImVp). They made wrong calculation on province of "Kalimantan Barat", it was written "4281878" on "Jumlah" (total) column, whereas it should be "5497151". It seems they didn't include "katolik" in "Kalimantan Barat". Eventhough my formula is correct, since the raw dataset was wrong in the first place, and this cause the end result to be incorrect.
