- Done. However, my writing should probably still be proof read by someone else. Andrew Sullivan Cant
Chasm City Second?
editIsn't Chasm City the second book in the series (Well, it comes second chronologically at least). Isn't "H" Sky Haussmann? If Chasm City was the third then how did he end up in Chasm City if the events in the book hadn't happened yet? And in Chasm City The Plague is everywhere, it isn't in Redemption Ark. I'm changing this so if anyone has any objections??? sonoftheclayr 12:46, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
The plague isn't in redemption ark because the conjoiners have stepped in and cleaned everything up. Chronologically, Chasm City is actually the first (Ana Khouri meets "Tanner" at the end of Chasm City- she references it in RS). You can check Reynold's site to confirm this. "H" is Sky Hausmann- but her was on Yellowstone before Revelation Space. (And don't forget- RA is set partly in the Rust Belt, after the plague)
Release date
editAmazon.co.uk gives an earlier release date of 27/6/2002 for both a hardback and paperback edition. Could this be correct?
Connection to Chasm City
editI guess it's not completely accurate to call Redemption Ark a sequel to Chasm City (cf this edit), but I'm not sure calling City "standalone" is completely accurate either. Ark does provide a sort of Fully Absorbed Finale to City with the chapter where H explains what became of his mission to euthanize Gideon, as well as the one describing how the city gradually recovered from the plague. But I don't want to get the opening paragraph to get too technical, so I'm leaving it for now. --DocumentN (talk) 19:03, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Destruction of Skade's Ship?
editThe article mentions that Skade's Conjoiner pursuit vessel was destroyed in an attempt to travel faster than light (Quantum state 4). While it is true that it was damaged by the attempt, it was Clavain who destroyed it using pin-head anti-matter grenages shortly after rescuing Felka. Indeed, this destruction causes tensions within Clavain who knows that in doing so he was finally kiling Galiana.
If no-one objects I will correct this error in a couple of days. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.252.16.10 (talk) 12:56, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
