Steel? Are we kidding?
editTalking about steel for "Reali Ferriere ed Officine" in Mongiana is almost a nonsense. The Bessemer process was yet to come. Sure, small batches of steel could be made, having in your crew ironsmiths that were skilled enogh to know when to stop smithing the metal, so that enough carbonium was left in the alloy.
The name "Ferriere" says it all. They were IRONworks, not STEELworks. Saint (talk) 11:47, 23 June 2024 (UTC)
