Move to La Cartuja
editI would remove this point in the general information. The chairman, Ruiz de Lopera, said they were moving this January but we didn't have more information about this move. I would wait to see what happens instead of entering the information right away after Lopera gives it since this is not the first "lie" he says.
Captains
editAdded captainsfor Betis as well as Celta, Valencia, Barca and Madrid. I'm not sure of the order it's in if VCapi is ahead of Fernando.
Joaquín Information
editJoaquín was born in El Puerto de Santa María, a town in the province of Cádiz--80.58.14.107 23:46, 26 July 2005 (UTC)
Edú Signed This Year 2006...
editAlthough Edú has been on loan at Real Betis for 2 years he only signed this summer for two million euros. So why is someone continuously taking him off the transfer section? --159.134.226.6 20:54, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Player Pages
editI've nearly completed player pages for every Real Betis player, and altered and added to some of the current ones. If anyone knows of any factual errors or has any suggestions for improvement, let it be known. --It's simple, really simple.... 23:02, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Page Layout
editI'm currently messing about with the layout of the page. Hopefully most people think it looks good but if anyone has suggestions for improvement but sure to discuss it here. --It's simple, really simple.... 23:02, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Jorge Wagner @ Betis?
edit- He could possibly be signing. But nothing is set yet.
Removed Loan Returns From Transfer
editI removed the loan returns of Benjamin, Juanlu, & Oliveira because 1) they are either included in the current squad which means they are part of it, 2) not on the 'out on loan section which means the obvious, and 3) have gone somewhere else which is indicated on the page. If anyone wants to change it back, discuss. --It's simple, really simple.... 23:12, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
Transfers
editI have removed the list of recent transfers, as Wikipedia is not a news service. Oldelpaso 11:41, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
They are still there... Maurimarzal 15:41, 5 September 2006 (GMT)
Why did you take the loaned players away? That doesn't make sense. --159.134.48.161 23:25, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
Mehmet Aurelio
editAurelio's transfer is not official yet, so please do not put him on the team roster. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.40.244.94 (talk) 13:04, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
- He has actually signed. Are we not using official sources anymore on Wiki or am I missing something?

Unless a reliable source proved he have the nationality, by passed the wide range of different requirements, please do not list him as South African.[1] Matthew_hk tc 19:48, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
History
editThe first Andalusian team playing UEFA Champions League, during 1958, was Sevilla FC, being defeated in Quarterfinals by Real Madrid CF.
Also, Real Betis is not the only club winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd Division in Spain, so RC Deportivo de la Coruña did.
Where says "Sevilla Water Works", should be written Sevilla Foot-ball Club, as referred in this image:
File:Http://s4.subirimagenes.com/otros/3373855carta-white.jpg
Despite this image, actual Sevilla FC is recognized to be founded October 14th, 1905.
Real Betis is not the "one and only" using the word "Balompié" in its name. Écija Balompié, Albacete Balompié among others use it too.
In "Name and colours" section, says that Celtic FC gave black and green striped shirts to Mr Ramos Asensio, but the fact is that they gave him green and white horizontally striped shirts that were used by Real Betis FC from 1912 to 1914, when merged with Sevilla Balompié into Real Betis Balompié.
The "Real" condition, given by king Alfonso XIII, was given in 1912. It was also not the first club to receive royal patronage, as the article says, but that was rather Deportivo La Coruña, in 1907.
In "Centenary celebrations" is not mentioned that the club foundation was in 1914. They don't even mention that the 50th anniversary was held in 1958.
In "Segunda División" section, says that over 65,000 people went to the demonstration. Local authorities said that no more than 40,000.

Badge update?
editThey updated the badge a while ago, this page still uses the old one. Crown is slightly different, most notable changes are in the B's. Shouldn't we update that? PikaBoop (talk) 16:44, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
